SAN ANTONIO – Stephanie Anderson discovered her passion for coffee, creativity and personal connection while working for a mobile coffee business on the Navy bases in Pensacola, Florida. When she and her husband moved to San Antonio earlier this year, she decided to launch her own.

That’s how Bloomin Brews Coffee came to life.

Today, Stephanie manages the coffee trailer herself, handcrafting drinks, attending events citywide and growing a brand centered on care, connection and community.

“Being my own boss is so rewarding,” she said. “It’s so much fun. I don’t think I could ever work for somebody else again.”

Earlier this week, she donated a portion of her sales to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. It’s the kind of gesture that reflects her deeper belief in building community in addition to crafting delicious drinks.

“I just want to spread joy, make good cups of coffee and connect with our community,” she said.

Her advice to future business owners: “Have a backup plan all of the time.”

Bloomin Brews Coffee can be found in the Cinco Lakes community most days, but you’ll also catch the trailer popping up at events across the city.
